This durable, waterproof, lightweight, breathable fabric contain billions of microscopic pores smaller than a raindrop, but hundred times larger than a molecule of water vapor. The triple layer combination wicks moisture, stop water from passing through, and circulate body heat.

The color is called foliage green, sometimes referred to as ranger green or sage. It is lighter than standard olive drab and slightly lighter than current mil-issue versions. This color is designed to 'coordinate' (To be used with, not an exact match) with Army ACU Digital patterns, however it is a solid color, not digitized with a pattern. The jacket is an updated version of the U.S. Special Forces Protective Combat Uniform, Level 5, Generation II. Jacket is not implied to be, the exact or the same as, is issued to SOF. The exterior material is not typical windbreaker polyester. This is soft, almost micro-fiber like feel. Very nice, and very good-looking. This is really one of the better military/tactical jackets we have ever seen. It isn't standard military issue to all troops, but it should be. It's that good. Makes for a great riding jacket with zipper venting under the arms. Collar can be worn stand up for weather protection or down in conventional lapel collar format.

NOTE ABOUT SIZING: This is a fairly straight-cut jacket from the chest to the waist. The waist measurement assumes you don't have stomach that 'overhangs' your waist or exceeds your chest size. If so, you may have difficulty zipping this jacket up over your stomach. We recommend measuring your mid-section to determine if you are within the chest and waist measurements. For example: If your chest measures 48" with a 46" waist, but your stomach measures 52, you'll have a problem zipping this jacket closed. Some customers have noted that sizing is slightly smaller than normal. It is not over-sized. Because of this we highly recommend you order one size up, especially if you intend to layer clothing underneath the jacket. For example, if you normally wear a medium size jacket, please order large.
