This durable, waterproof, lightweight, breathable fabric contain billions of microscopic pores smaller than a raindrop, but hundred times larger than a molecule of water vapor. The triple layer combination wicks moisture, stop water from passing through, and circulate body heat.

Besides being a great tactical/combat jacket, it makes for a great riding jacket with zipper venting under the arms to regulate temps in varying riding conditions. Collar can be worn stand up for weather protection or down in conventional lapel collar format.

Jacket is not implied to be the exact or same, as is issued to SOF. The jacket design is an updated version of the U.S. Army Special Forces Protective Combat Uniform, Level 5, Generation II. Similar designs were tested in 2007 by the 10th Mountain Division during an Afghanistan tour.

NOTE ABOUT SIZING: This is a fairly straight-cut jacket from the chest to the waist. The waist measurement assumes you don't have stomach that 'overhangs' your waist or exceeds your chest size. If so, you may have difficulty zipping this jacket up over your stomach. We recommend measuring your mid-section to determine if you are within the chest and waist measurements. For example: If your chest measures 48" with a 46" waist, but your stomach measures 52, you'll have a problem zipping this jacket closed. However, if you intend to wear it as a casual jacket unzipped, go for it. Some customers have noted that the jacket tends to run slightly small. We recommend ordering one size up, especially if you will be layering clothing. For example, order a large if you normally wear a medium.
