They've proven themselves in combat over the last few years and they are brutally tough, reliable and highly accurate. And, they don't cost a small fortune! The Brigade watch is the newest addition to the Frontier lineup. As usual, it has all the basic essentials needed for duty no matter what part of the earth the military sends you. And, it is absolutely the best looking watch Frontier has ever produced and, in our opinion, one the best looking watches we carry. The picture so underwhelms how good-looking this watch is. The finish is a hardchrome silver satin that is very good looking, very smooth and very cool. On the bezel are hard black polymer markers. The bezel is also accented with a polymer ring on the bottom of the bezel which can't be seen in the pictures. There is a matching polymer sleeve over the stem that is protected by the case. The combination of the satin silver finish and black markers is strikingly good-looking. The watch dial is deep set with the minute and five minute marker heavily angled giving the face watch depth. The numbers are very nicely done by being outlined in chrome, not painted on like most watches. The 24 hour inset is in black or white, depending on the face color. Like we said, this is the nicest looking watch Frontier has ever produced. It looks like a much more expensive watch and has features comparable to higher priced watches. Instead of a watchback that is screwed down with four screws, this watch has a screwed-in back which is generally found only on quality watches. The strap has a leather strip on the loose end of the strap and a stainless steel strap loop on the other end. On the strap is a small removable liquid-filled compass. And here's the kicker. It actually works very well. A lot of these small compasses, while they may look like a compass, have a difficult time deciphering North from South. But this one is obviously well-built and functions perfectly. We've been big fans of Frontier watches right from the beginning because of their incredible reliability. We know when watches suffer in the quality area, because we're the recipients of customer returns. And, it is very very rare when we get a Frontier watch back because of failure. It just doesn't happen.
