Each case is valued at $8.99 so this can only be classified as a unique bargain.<BR>You will receive two M8001 Aviators and two padded hard cases for a very special price.<BR><BR>This model is a smaller frame aviator for small to medium head sizes, and with its flexible temple arms it also fits larger head sizes comfortably. The frame is 5 1/2" from temple to temple. The lenses are about 2 1/4" Across in Width x 2" Tall and are manufactured from 2.0 millimeter thick ballistic polycarbonate. 2.0 mm is as thick as some combat goggles so you know you'll be getting maximum eye protection. Additionally, because the lenses will not flex during normal use, the frame will remain rigid. Thin lenses tend to pop out of the frame as it ages and becomes distorted. That won't happen with this model. The lens to frame fit is tight and secure.<BR><BR>This is a traditional design with standard aviator wire temple arms (not cable) and clear traditional temple ends, which look sharp and crisp. The hinge/temple arms are optical quality, which means they are threaded with screws, not press fit together like cheaper sunglasses.<BR><BR>The mirrored lenses are a full silver-oxide mirror that provide additional sun filtration and frankly, darn good looks. Our lenses, as on all our aviators, provide full protection from damaging UVA/UVB ultraviolet rays.<BR><BR>The chrome finish is obviously very refined even under the clear temple ends, which on some sunglasses looks unfinished. The chrome plating on this model is thick and will not begin to wear off within a few weeks of wear. <BR><BR>The lenses are standard aviator smoke/gray, with optical quality clarity with no hint of smokiness or distortion. And, they are a little darker than traditional sunglasses providing very good protection on bright sunny days. The nose pads are soft and flexible. The temple arms won't interfere or feel obtrusive when used with headsets or helmets. These are the perfect sunglasses for flying, driving, boating or lying around at the beach or lake. They are so light, you will hardly notice them.<BR><BR>How good are they?
