In fact, all Coppermax products are produced with optical quality frames.<BR><BR>The lenses are .65 mm polycarbonate. But don't be fooled by the thickness. Coppermax assures rigidity of their product and security of the fame to lens fit with an optical quality frame. It is not uncommon for manufacturers of lesser eyewear to put thin polarized lenses into very poor quality frames. The end result is poor frame rigidity which leads to lenses falling out of the frame.<BR><BR>Polarized lenses, due to their design criteria, are a thinner lens design than standard non-polarized lenses. If you have noticed, we carry very few polarized products. It is very difficult to find a product that meets our strict criteria for lens to frame fit and sturdiness. The Coppermax line meets all of our requirements.<BR><BR>Coppermax lenses provide all the benefits of high contrast clarity of "blue-block" tints without the distortion of colors. If color correction is important to you, you will find that Coppermax lenses represent the latest in hi-contrast lens technology.<BR><BR>The frames come in one finish, Dark Chrome. The first can be described best as an antique gold (Discontinued), finished to a very nice sheen. It matches up very well with the brown tint lenses and looks very sharp.<BR><BR>The other is a dark chrome, sometimes referred to as gun metal. Dark chrome is really nothing more than a traditional bright chrome silver with a smoke tint, giving it a darker look. It is again, a very refined finish typical of Coppermax quality levels.<BR><BR>The temple arms are substantial and are spring hinged for a perfect fit on almost all head sizes from small to large. The lenses are 1 3/4" tall by 2 14" wide at their widest point. These are classified as medium size lenses.<BR><BR>The polarized lenses act as shudders to eliminate reflected glare on windshields, chrome on cars, windows, water, snow or anything where sunlight is reflecting off another surface. If you are a fisherman, engage in water sports on rivers, lakes or the ocean, you'll appreciate the ability to see into the water that are unique to polarized lenses.
