It's rare that we find a model that is unique and works so well at this kind of price. The Bond is designed to fit small and medium head sizes. The temple arms with heavy duty hinges have enough flex that larger head sizes will find them to be quite comfortable as well. The Bond has rubber side shields, and with the design of the glasses you get very nice wind/dust and rain blockage all away around the upper and lower sunglass front as well. And because it is soft rubber, it will not break down and wear like some foam gaskets. The gasket will not separate from the frame because it's not glued in place, but through a two-stage injection molding process it is permanently molded into the frame fronts. This is a very well built product designed to last years, not just one tour of duty overseas or one riding season. The advantages of this design are many, not least of which is the protection from side-light. Sun from the side or rear can not only be annoying, it can adversely affect vision and cause eye strain and fatigue. The Bond eliminates this problem completely. These are perfect for inclement weather conditions like rain and snow. The Bond has many uses that make it a must have for all types of conditions: - Bright snow conditions - Inclement rainy weather - Wind and dust protection - Perfect for the next snow ski season The shatterproof polycarbonate lenses have a nice smoke/gray tint that will not distort colors.
