Unfortunately, one of the toughest things to do is get a good clean picture of dark chrome and mirroring together so both are accurately depicted. In this case we did a pretty good job of getting the dark chrome frame, but because it was low light, the mirroring doesn't show up as well as it would in a full daylight picture. But, you can be assured the mirroring on the dark chrome M1030 is a full multiple layer silver oxide mirroring that looks absolutely hot. Dark Chrome is similar to a chrome finish, but instead of a polished bright white chrome, dark chrome, sometimes referred to as gun metal, is a polished, almost smoke tint reflective chrome finish. It's simply a dark plated finish that has replaced painted black finishes on sunglasses, but without the stark black contrast that painted black frames have. It's quite nice and just a bit more toned down than standard white chrome. Very classy, very good looking, and the hottest selling sunglass finish this season.
